AFHs are more flexible and can offer more personalized care, with a higher staff-to-resident ratio, which can lead to more individualized attention. Some Adult Family Homes specialize in caring for individuals with specific needs, such as dementia, developmental disabilities or mental health.

Yes. We have a Dementia specialty, allowing us to care for your loved ones with Dementia and Alzheimer’s disease. Alzheimer’s is the most common form of Dementia.

The cost of care at Holistic Wellness is based on several factors such as your level of care needs and room type.
Our all-inclusive cost for care includes room and board, all utilities, housekeeping, laundry services, recreational activities/programs, all personal care services and items such as incontinence products that may be required as outlined in your individualized care plan. -
With the help of a Registered Dietician, we prepare the food you love, and food that nourishes your body & spirit.
This means the food we serve is freshly made daily and for each meal.
Additionally, we accommodate a variety of special diets such as -Low Sodium, Low Fat, -Diabetic, -Puree, -Mechanical soft, -Vegetarian/ Vegan and more.
We are always open to modifying our menu to our resident’s needs and wants. -
At this time we do not provide transportation , but we can accommodate transportation for medical appointments or other outings if needed.

Yes, we do partner with a medical doctor for in home visits, and can accommodate visiting specialty providers if needed.
You are not required to leave your primary care physician, if you already have one, but are welcome to utilize our in home visiting doctor when you are unable to get in to see your primary care physician in a timely manner. -
